Finally I can connect to my WIFI (netgear router) without trouble but not bedford before I had my set of trouble.
One of the biggest irritation I had was POOR WIFI connectivity of my latest samsung galaxy S with my netgear router. Detection successful… Connection done… Surfing opens a page on ages if you are in luck. And yes don’t count too much on luck for second page.

Started exploring froyo on samsung galaxy s. Here’s first instalment…
1. Input Method … New pointer makes it really easy to place cursor and do the selection and cut copy operation which was otherwise difficult with finger.
2. Indian languages… Support for jungian languages were conspicuous by its absence. It’s DISAPPOINTING. We were attributing delay in launch partly to this feature

Finally the wait is over. Froyo has arrived. After frustrating irritating long wait samsung shipped to it to indian galaxy s models.
Here’s the upgrade experience…
Kies automatically informed about the update as soon as device was connected. Update was smooth… more than expected.
After download it took just a couple of minutes to get installed… Actually more time during first boot.

Beginning with android the first question I had is privacy and still don’t have a perfect solution.
But urgency was to hide images from showing up in the gallery.
Solution is create an empty file in the folder you want to exclude from gallery. Name the file .nomedia
Remember a few things:
1. Its excludes media from gallery; not really hides it. A browser can still see it.
