Finally the wait is over. Froyo has arrived. After frustrating irritating long wait samsung shipped to it to indian galaxy s models.
Here’s the upgrade experience…

Kies automatically informed about the update as soon as device was connected. Update was smooth… more than expected.

After download it took just a couple of minutes to get installed… Actually more time during first boot.

Now the strange part

After update I got froyo and lost nothing. My data, my settings, my apps all were there. I had expected them all wiped. Is it normal?
