He has embarked on the journey of grand ancient epics and that has resulted in first epic fiction — The Lost Epic. The first book of the series The Accursed God will soon be available in paperback, hardbound and electronic formats. You can find more information about the book and series by visiting official book website.
More than anything, Vivek is a storyteller. Even in his professional capacity he has a lot of stories to share, and you often find him quoting relevance of Gita and Buddha in Software Design Principles. His stories varies from the story he writes, and stories he reads — and he reads from Indian Epics to modern fictions, from classics of Alexandre Dumas and Munshi Premchand to contemporaries like Jeffrey Archer, John Grisham, Dan Brown, from suspense like Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot to fantasy like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. And he prefers to be a Storian!
You will also find his own short stories, retelling of the stories, book reviews, book summary and interviews with other story tellers on the website.
Probably the oldest and strongest link to Indian Epic for Vivek is his devotion to Lord Shiva. That’s the reason Vivek’s oldest blog has been dedicated to Shiva, where there is a collection of thoughts and strottams related to Lord Shiva.
Proud of national identity and a great admirer of Indian Freedom Fighters and patriots — Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Shubhash Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad, Maharana Pratap and countless people who lived and died for India. His dedication comes as his old blog.
